Bulgaria’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mariya Gabriel, on January 17 met in Davos with Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Lord David Cameron.
The meeting discussed assistance to Ukraine and the challenges facing the country.
"Bulgaria will continue to defend its consistent position in support of Ukraine. A number of important decisions were adopted thanks to the efforts of the three parliamentary groups, GERB-UDF; We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. Today, we are again sending a message of united efforts to tackle the challenges," Mariya Gabriel said.

The meeting also discussed the strategic partnership between Bulgaria and the United Kingdom and the signed joint declaration. The discussion also focused on ongoing action to combat illegal migration, innovation and the possibility of partnering within the Horizon Europe, which is the EU's key funding programme for research and innovation.
