Pleven district is extending the influenza epidemic and the temporary anti-epidemic measures until 5 February inclusive, the Ministry of Health announced on January 31.
The suspension of elective consultations of healthy pregnant women and children; routine check-ups and compulsory immunizations and re-immunizations; the implementation of a strict daily checks of overall health of children upon arrival in nurseries, kindergartens and schools, as well as the ban on visits to hospitals and social services institutions for children and adults remain in force.
Until 5 February, the measures also remain in force in the districts of Smolyan, Gabrovo, Plovdiv, Varna, Yambol, Veliko Tarnovo, Pazardzhik and Haskovo. In Sofia district and Shumen they will be valid until 7 February and in Pernik until 9 February.
Students in 7 districts in the country are currently studying online. These are Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Pazardzhik, Yambol, Pernik and Sofia district.
