Political comments on election night: Kiril Petkov says WCC-DB will be strong opposition to Borissov and Peevski

"We heard your voice. We will be a strong opposition to the plans of Borissov and Peevski to take us back to the years of belt-tightening and racketeering," the co-leader of “We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria”, Kiril Petkov, wrote in a Facebook post on June 9 after the June 9 two-in-one elections for national Parliament and European Parliament.

(Borissov is the leader of GERB and Peevski is one of the two leaders of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms).

According to the exit polls by Gallup International Balkan and Alpha Research, We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria” currently are in second place in the elections for national legislature and the European Parliament.

In a longer post on their official party page, "We Continue the Change" said they will fight for Bulgaria's European path and oppose "any attempt at corruption and theft of public funds".
