The company in Plovdiv, accused of trading goods with possible dual-use to Russia acted illegally, the Minister of Economy Bogdan Bogdanov said on October 12 before a meeting of the Defence Committee.
He explained that any such transaction, wih dual-use items, is required to receive approval from the Interdepartmental Commission, whose chairman is the Minister of Economy and which includes representatives of all special services.

On Tuesday, at a joint press conference in Plovdiv, Deputy Prosecutor General Maria Pavlova, Zhivko Kotsev, secretary general of the Ministry of Interior, Plamen Tonchev, chairman of the State Agency for National Security, and Vanya Hristeva, district prosecutor of Plovdiv, announced that a criminal group had been uncovered exporting goods with possible dual use to the military actions on the territory of Ukraine.
