The parties "Vazrazhdane" and "There is Such a People" referred to the Constitutional Court about the changes in the basic law, challenging all 23 paragraphs. Their main attack is on the changes in the judicial reform.

"Today the appeal has already been signed - this is it with all the annexes - 40 pages of argumentation on absolutely every single point that was adopted and changed by this National Assembly," said the chairman of "Vazrazhdane", Kostadin Kostadinov.

"We are attacking every single thing they proposed, simply because they got a huge poor mark for overall creativity, if I may put it that way. You know very well that this is not just the opinion of our two parliamentary groups, this is the opinion of all professional guilds in the field of law, including their beloved Venice Commission, which ruined them," said Toshko Yordanov, chairman of “There is Such a People“ PG.
