Vice President Iotova: The second government-forming mandate will be handed on a date that is best for national interests

"I can assure you that we are following very closely everything that is happening in the country, the whole political process and the second government-forming mandate will be handed on the day that is best for the national interests," Iliana Iotova, Vice President of Bulgaria told media on July 10.

"So far, there have only been declarations but no specific proposals from those who hope to receive the third mandate," she added.

"There is talk about everything, about possible alliances and split-ups, but no one has come up with specific proposals on what should be done in the coming months in the country.

In a situation in the country in which it is obvious that we are becoming more and more indebted, we will have problems with the budget in the autumn, we also have to think about who and how will adopt this budget, " Iotova said.
