Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 550 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 550 from 3,383 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 10, 2023.

Test positivity rate is 16,2%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the pandemic are 1,316,718.

The active cases are 4,342.

Of the total, 334 patients are in hospitals, 19 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 227 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 1,273,890

• 3,580 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, 4,637,007;

• 8 Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 38,486;

Of the daily cases, 53,45% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 75,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 62 new hospitalisations, of which 59,68% had not been vaccinated.
