The Bulgarian chief directorate for combating organised crime has disrupted an organised crime group for the distribution of drugs in Sofia, BNT has learned from own sources.
A dealer and a customer were detained in the course of the operation, during the purchase and sale of drugs.

A total of 11 pieces of packs containing cocaine, mobile phones and the sum of 1,200 BGN were found and seized.
The other five members of the criminal group were detained immediately after the transfer of the drugs.

Thirteen searches were carried out in homes and cars used by members of the crime group. A total of about 400 grams of cocaine, mobile phones, electronic scales, notes and about BGN 50,000 were found and seized.

A supervising prosecutor from Sofia City Prosecutor's Office has indicted five persons for involvement in an organised criminal group established for the purpose of possession and distribution of narcotic drugs. They have been remanded in custody for up to 72 hours.
Actions to prove and document the criminal activities of the members of the group are ongoing.
