Cars and trucks have been blocked on the road between Dobrich and Varna (North-Eastern Bulgaria) due to heavy snowfall in the area, MeteoBalkans reports on November 19.
The snowfall that started yesterday, accompanied by strong winds, continued throughout the night.
The road Dobrich - General Toshevo is closed to traffic for cleaning.
The situation is also complicated at Shipka mountain pass. There are fallen trees and branches on the road because of the strong wind. The road maintenance company is clearing the pass.
Visibility is extremely reduced. Motorists should drive with caution, the traffic police urged.
