A fire is burning in the area between the towns of Petrich and Sandanski, near the village of Ribnik (Southern Bulgaria).
The bridge over the Struma River near the village has been closed to traffic due to heavy smoke. So far, only dry grass and shrubs have been affected. Firefighting teams are on site, and police are redirecting traffic along alternative routes.
