Two workers of the National Railway Infrastructure Company have died after being run over by a locomotive of a private carrier, the Ministry of Interior told BNT on November 7.
The workers were cutting bushes and branches. As a result of the noise, they probably did not hear the approaching train. An investigation has been launched. The Ministry of Interior is providing assistance, the Minister of the Interior Kalin Stoyanov said.
The accident occurred in the area of the Iliyantsi commodity bazaar in Sofia.
