This year’s Eurovision winner DARA has officially become an honorary citizen of Avren Municipality (Northeastern Bulgaria, Varna district). The municipality’s mayor presented her with an honorary distinction, as he had promised following DARA’s victory in Vienna.
The public broadcaster secured Bulgaria’s participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2026, while DARA’s song went on to become an absolute hit.
