One person has died and five others are in hospital after a serious crash between a lorry and a van in the region of Maglizh (Stara Zagora district, Southern Bulgaria), the press centre of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior reported on November 17.

The rod accident occurred shortly after 14.20 today on the Sub-Balkan road, in the section between Sliven and Kazanlak, in the area of a petrol station near Maglizh.
According to initial information, the driver of the car was crushed and died. Five people were taken to hospital.
Traffic in the area is being diverted via an alternative route through the town of Maglizh.
