Prison staff are staging a protest in front of the Department of Corrections on October 6.
The dissatisfaction is provoked by the overall management of the directorate and the inability to offer adequate solutions to problems directly affecting the professional and labour rights of employees, the trade unions' position says.
It has also alerted the commissioners for jobs and social rights and justice.
The trade unions said that they were talking about punishments and dismissals of trade union leaders and members for their peaceful exercise of the right to freedom of association and the right to protest.
The specific reason for the protest is the dismissal of junior inspector Emil Velkov, who led the protest of Sofia prison employees on 12 May.
